1st Shift Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Maintenance Technician | 1st shift | $24-$28/hr | Salem, OH

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join our team on the first shift from 7 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. This role involves 80% mechanical and 20% electrical tasks, with a focus on troubleshooting and maintaining facility equipment across eight buildings.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and determine appropriate actions for repair of facility equipment.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
• Inspect, repair, replace, install, adjust, and maintain all mechanical equipment used in the fabrication process.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment when required for repair.
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, and annual equipment inspections and repairs.
• Perform mechanic duties, including electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic tasks.
• Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs.
• Repair and lubricate machines and equipment, primarily CNC, welding, and mobile equipment like cranes and forklifts.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical maintenance skills.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and machine maintenance in an industrial environment.
• Facilities maintenance experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance expertise.
• Experience with CNC repair.
• Welding skills.

Work Environment

Work alongside the maintenance manager who handles high-level electrical installs and repairs in a first shift schedule from 7 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Our company operates over 400,000 square feet of manufacturing facilities across seven locations, offering a complete end-to-end metal fabrication process with the latest industry technologies.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salem, OH.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
