Office Manager / Bookkeeper
Job Summary
Seeking bookkeeper experienced with financial records and reporting. To start training as soon as possible and be part to full time. Salary/wage depends upon experience and is negotiable.
Candidate needs to have a strong understanding of accounting principles, and be proficient with accounting software, have excellent organizational and record-keeping skills, and attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required for vendor and client interactions. Duties will involve but are not limited to the following: Retail POS reconciliation, Accounts Payable and Receivable, payroll tracking (ours is outsourced), all business tax tracking, running reports and closing monthly books.

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations and ensure efficient workflow.
- Manage schedules, including calendar management for executives and team members
- Handle vendor (accounts payable) and wholesale customers (accounts receivable) management.
- Oversee bookkeeping tasks such as out sourced payroll processing and budgeting. Keeping track of all payroll tax reporting fulfilled by the outsourced company.
- Implement effective filing systems to ensure easy access to information.
- Maintain office environment and provide excellent phone etiquette.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all office functions.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and communication.
Requirements
- Proven experience in office management or a similar administrative role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in bookkeeping software is preferred. We use Business works, Excel, Word and other microsoft office software.
- Knowledge of clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and calendar management.
