The candidate must be able to solve problems creatively, communicate effectively, and proactively engage in technical decision making to achieve objectives. This individual will be a team player and work well with technical professionals in an agile environment. The position requires the ability to go from a processing model to hardware reality with a multi-discipline team. This position is located onsite WPAFB. No virtual or hybrid is available. #LI-HB1 Essential Job Responsibilities + Be part of a team responsible for creating, maintaining, and augmenting digital signal processing software + Present status reports to key internal stakeholders. + Evaluate new tools, technologies, and processes to improve digital signal processing chains + Other job-related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications + 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience. + Bachelor's or Master's Degrees in Physics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or an equivalent work experience. + Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with advanced security checks + Minimum Secret clearance is required to start + 3+ years of digital signal processing experience + Cellular/satellite communications, wireless protocols, algorithms, data analysis + Good written and oral communication skills. + Self-starter - takes the initiative to research, learn, and deliver. Anticipates the play. + Team player - humble, collaborative, and focused on making sure the entire team succeeds. Preferred Requirements + 3+ years of programming experience in C/C++, MATLAB and Python + 3+ years of experience with CUDA/FGPA signal processing + 3+ years of experience with RF test equipment + [Desired] Experience with X-Midas, GNU Radio and/or REDHAWK + [Desired] Experience with containers like Docker and Kubernetes + [Desired] Experience working in cloud environment The listed salary range for this role is intended as a good faith estimate based on the role's location, expectations, and responsibilities.
