Position Summary:
Apollo Home is seeking an experienced Controller to lead company-wide financial operations and ensure the highest standards of fiscal stewardship. This critical leadership role is responsible for maintaining financial accuracy, overseeing accounting functions, and reporting financial results to senior management. The ideal candidate excels with inventory accounting and possesses advanced communication skills to clearly present financial results and strategic insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, and financial analysis.
• Collaborate closely with company leadership to communicate financial performance and drive business strategy.
• Ensure the accuracy and compliance of company financial records in accordance with industry standards and relevant regulations.
• Manage and optimize inventory accounting processes, tracking inventory levels and ensuring proper cost allocation.
• Review and prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts for upper management.
• Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Coordinate and supervise annual audits, tax filings, and other financial processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a controllership capacity.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (including financial modeling, pivot tables, and intermediate formulas).
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex financial data effectively to management and other stakeholders.
• Extensive experience with inventory accounting and managing inventory in high-volume environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Sage Intacct or similar ERP/accounting platforms.
• Background in high-volume transactional businesses.
