Right of Way Project Coordinator

Purpose
Take on a leadership role within the Right of Way team and coordinate with Right of Way Agents/COS and other leaders to manage daily workflow of projects to completion.
Responsibilities
Leadership and Direction
-
Perform work under moderate supervision. Receive direction on moderately complex assignments, tasks, and execution. Work is frequently reviewed by more senior staff to ensure application of sound techniques and principles. Review work produced by junior staff for quality assurance.
At the Operational and Company Level
-
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for project due diligence but also during construction activities for the projects.

Mentor and train agents to ensure project success to Bowman standards.
Do the Work
-
Understand and manage the workflow on projects, including initial project kick-off and daily metrics. Work in close coordination with internal teams.

Coordinate multiple projects; create and/or update project plans (monitor the acquisition processes, proactively communicate with project stakeholders).

Under the direction of senior leadership, assist in planning.

Assist senior leadership with business development opportunities.

Prepare project tracking reports, reconcile database, and ensure project schedules and budget are met.

Adapt to changes in project process and scope and proactively assist in problem solving.

Ensure all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.

Monitor and communicate project progress and scope.

Proactively communicate internally and externally, acting as client point of contact.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred. Commensurate relevant experience considered.

Three or more (3+) years of related experience (ideally in professional services).

Fluent in Microsoft Office applications.

Professional real estate license in applicable state or the ability to obtain one within 3 months (90 days) of hire is required.

Physical Demands and Working Environment

Primarily indoor professional office environment which may include bright/dim light, noise, fumes, odors, and traffic.

Mobility around an office environment.

Frequent and prolonged use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Partly outdoor work environment which may include adverse weather conditions, varying temperatures, excessive noise, and/or potential hazards.

Mobility around a job/construction site to include walking, bending, crawling, climbing, squatting, or kneeling and wearing of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Frequent and prolonged use of data collection equipment and/or drones, necessitating walking the assigned study area to complete data collection over the course of several hours.

Primarily local travel during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be required according to the needs of the business.

Occasional lifting or carrying up to 20 pounds.

Occasional pushing or pulling up to 20 pounds.
-
Occasional reaching outward or above shoulder.
