MEDICARE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Akron OH 44305 – 100% On-site
 - Payrate: $18/hr
 - Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
 
MEDICARE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Medicare Customer Service Representative is responsible for assisting Medicare Advantage members with plan changes over the phone using approved compliance scripts. You’ll document and track all interactions, support outreach efforts to retain members, and assist with presenting plan information to individuals or groups when needed.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
 - Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
 - A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
 
MEDICARE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete Medicare Advantage plan changes over the phone using compliance-approved scripts.
 - Accurately document and track all member interactions and follow-ups.
 - Conduct outreach to members at risk of disenrollment and assist with retention efforts.
 - Support presentations of plan benefits to groups or individuals when needed.
 - Maintain compliance with CMS rules, policies, and marketing guidelines.
 
MEDICARE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE | REQUIREMENTS :
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
 - Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
 - 1+ year in a call center, customer service, or health insurance support role.
 - Experience working with Medicare members or health insurance plans required.
 - Knowledge of CMS rules and Medicare Advantage plan design a plus.
 - Excellent phone communication and documentation abilities.
 - Strong multitasking skills—able to navigate multiple systems while speaking with members.
 - Effective time management, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
 - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
