Site Civil Project Manager
We are seeking a dedicated Site/Civil Project Manager to contribute to the successful completion of a growing project portfolio in the Columbus, OH metropolitan area. The individual in this role will serve a key function in performing and coordinating the planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects. Additionally, the role involves coaching, training, and overseeing staff. You will have the opportunity to work as part of a passionate, collaborative team of civil engineers on exciting and meaningful projects across various market sectors, including healthcare, higher education, distribution, K-12, commercial, office, retail, and mixed-use.
Responsibilities- Lead the planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate and provide client communication.
- Design and oversee site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion, and sediment control from concept through completion.
- Develop new clients for the firm and maintain relationships with existing clients.
- Perform and manage multiple projects and tasks within specific budgets, schedules, and deadlines, monitoring budgets, schedules, and project timelines.
- Minimize write-offs by keeping projects on budget.
- Write and review draft reports, including feasibility studies, stormwater management reports, technical specifications, and utility reports.
- Provide expertise in hydrologic/hydraulic analysis and design, including water quality compliance.
- Work closely with office leadership to develop growth plans and ensure staff utilization.
- Perform other duties as requested.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Ohio.
- 6+ years of site/civil engineering experience for private development projects.
- Ability to use Civil 3D for design and site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion, and sediment control from concept through completion.
- Expertise in stormwater management design, hydrologic/hydraulic analysis and design.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage projects from concept through construction documents.
- Knowledge of local city, county, and state land use processes and regulations.
- Strong client development and relationship-building capabilities.
- Experience in technical and proposal writing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities.
- Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment.
- Possess reliable transportation for client meetings and job site visits and a valid driver's license in good standing.

The work environment currently involves remote work as there is no brick-and-mortar office in Columbus. Once an office is established, the position will transition to a hybrid schedule with two days remote and three days in-office. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
