Job Title: Manufacturing Mechanic II
Location: Twinsburg, OH area
Pay: $28–$35/hr (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time, Direct Hire
About the Role
A growing manufacturing facility in the Twinsburg area is seeking a Manufacturing Mechanic II to support plant operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment. This role is responsible for both preventive maintenance and responding to breakdowns to keep production running efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, conveyors, pneumatic systems, and production equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
Identify root causes of equipment failures using testing tools and observation
Complete work orders, PM records, and parts documentation accurately
Monitor equipment performance and assist production teams to reduce downtime
Maintain safe and clean work environment following plant procedures
Support continuous improvement efforts and process optimization
Required Skills & Experience
3–5 years of plant maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience working on high-speed production equipment
PLC troubleshooting experience required
Ability to read SOPs, diagrams, and equipment manuals
Strong mechanical aptitude with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
Comfortable using computers for work orders and maintenance tracking
Preferred Qualifications
Technical degree or certification in Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field
Ability to read blueprints, electrical prints, and machine schematics
Experience with continuous improvement or equipment upgrades
Work Environment
- Manufacturing environment with noise, temperature changes, and moving machinery
