We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Sr. Purple Team Operator to join the red team in our Cyber Defense, Resiliency, & Regulatory Response organization. As a Sr. Purple Team Operator, you will proactively and methodically develop and conduct adversary emulations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including cybersecurity analysts, engineers, and stakeholders, to enhance the organization's threat prevention and detection capabilities.
The Work Itself
- Continuously research new threats and TTPs.
- Develop and conduct emulations based on your research.
- Work with cross-functional teams to validate control efficacy and implement remediations. - Develop and maintain a MITRE Navigator heatmap.
- Produce professional grade reports based on the emulations and operations you perform.
- Perform penetration tests and other offensive security work when required.

The Skills You Bring
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field(s) of study or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience in offensive security. * Understanding of adversary emulations and chaining complex TTPs. Experience working with the MITRE ATT&CK Navigator, breach and attack simulation tools, and adversary tools such as Cobalt Strike, OST, Evilginx, etc.- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience attacking Windows, Linux, and MacOS environments.
- Experience performing covert adversary simulations.
- Experience automating emulation efforts.
Nice to haves
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS or MS Azure)
- Certifications or ability to obtain within a year: OSCP, OSTH, OSEP, CRTO, CRTL, CPTS, CAPE.

An individual's position in the range is determined by the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.
