Job Title: Litigation Legal Assistant
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to join our client to support a busy legal team and help drive efficient case management within their litigation practice. This role plays a key part in preparing legal materials, coordinating filings, and ensuring attorneys have the administrative and procedural support needed to meet critical deadlines. Working in a hybrid environment based in Wilmington, DE, this position requires a detail-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven legal setting. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational ability, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience with Delaware court procedures.
Compensation:
$70,000 – $85,000 annual salary
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, standard business hours; hybrid schedule (3 days onsite / 2 days remote following training)
Key Responsibilities of the Litigation Legal Assistant:

• Prepare, format, and organize legal documents, filings, and related materials to support case progression and attorney needs.
• Manage and maintain case calendars, coordinate deadlines, and oversee the timely e-filing and service of court documents.
• Deliver comprehensive administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations within the litigation practice group.
• Collaborate closely with attorneys, colleagues, and external partners to provide accurate information and high-quality service.
• Maintain strong communication and documentation practices to uphold legal standards and internal expectations.

Qualifications and Skills for the Litigation Legal Assistant:

• At least 3–5 years of experience working in a law firm or legal support environment.
• Hands-on experience with Delaware e-filing platforms, including File & Serve and CM/ECF.
• Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• A high school diploma or equivalent; advanced coursework or certifications in legal studies are a plus.
