This position is responsible for coordinating schedules, communicating with drivers and field personnel, tracking shipments or service calls, and ensuring efficient daily operations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong communication skills, and be able to manage multiple priorities throughout the day.

The Dispatcher will serve as a key point of contact between customers, drivers, technicians, and internal departments to ensure timely updates, accurate scheduling, and smooth workflow coordination.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch drivers, technicians, or field personnel
• Monitor schedules, routes, and service timelines
• Communicate updates with customers and internal teams
• Track deliveries, pickups, or service requests
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs and documentation
• Respond to scheduling changes and operational issues quickly
• Utilize dispatching software and computer systems
• Ensure timely communication regarding delays or issues
• Support daily operational and administrative tasks
• Maintain professional communication with all parties involved

Required Qualifications

• Must have previous Customer Service Experience
• Previous dispatching, logistics, or scheduling experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer and data entry experience
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience with dispatching or scheduling software is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required
