The opportunity

You will take part in meaningful work and real-life projects that will help you grow both professionally and personally throughout the program.

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Schedule: You must be available to work a 40-hour work week. This will be a day shift position.

How you’ll spend your day

This Co-Op opportunity provides the student with experience in several areas, with opportunities to work on cross functional projects and initiatives such as R&D, MS&T, Operations, and Quality in launching women’s hormonal products improving patient’s health.

Quality Co-op will lead projects to improve quality processes and areas, including Kaizen and 5S initiatives. Supported by a mentor and experienced colleagues, you will be directly involved in our daily business and be assigned tasks within diverse projects. This individual will participate in root cause problem solving to aid in the investigation for process deviations and develop/implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions to prevent reoccurrences. Will promote a learning environment with focus on continuous improvement using tools from Operational Excellence, Lean, and Six Sigma to deliver better business outcomes and safer and more compliant routines within the production department.

Your experience and qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited college or university program preferably pursuing a chemical, mechanical, or Bio-medical engineering.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills will be required to engage with other departments within the site. 
• Strong time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Visio, Project)
• Works independently and receives minimal guidance.

This is a full- time Co-Op position. Housing subsidy is not provided as part of this program and must be funded 100% by the student.
