A Per Diem pharmacist position is available to provide coverage on May 26th in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role involves working the 1st shift from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM on Friday, utilizing Pioneer software to support pharmacy operations.
Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately and safely under the supervision of the pharmacy manager.
- Counsel patients on their medications and ensure they understand their treatment regimens.
- Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in line with organizational policies.
- Maintain stock levels, controlled drug records, and conduct inventory checks.
- Resolve patient issues, including clarifications on third-party insurance coverage.
Qualifications:
- Active and clear pharmacist license in the state of Ohio.
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a retail pharmacy setting.
- Proficiency with pharmacy dispensing software (experience with Pioneer is a plus).
- Strong communication and patient counseling skills.
