Title: Maintenance Supervisor - 3rd Shift
Location: Cincinnati, OH, Zip: 45241
Salary: $100,000- $115,000/year

Schedule: Mon-Fri,10p-6:30a

Founded in the early 1900s we are a mid-sized wholesale provider of commercial and industrial flooring solutions. Our headcount has increased over 10% the past 2 years as we continue to expand our product line and gain market share in our space.

Position Overview
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance department, ensuring the effective operation and safety of all machinery and equipment. This role involves managing maintenance staff, coordinating schedules, and implementing maintenance programs to enhance productivity and efficiency in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the maintenance team in carrying out regular maintenance tasks and repairs.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track equipment performance and maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the maintenance department.
• Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics on machinery issues and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations.
• Train and mentor staff on best practices for maintenance and repair activities.
• Monitor maintenance inventory and order necessary supplies and parts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role in an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance techniques and equipment repair.
• Familiarity with CMMS and maintenance software preferred.
• Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Background in industrial maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Certifications in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or related fields are a plus.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
