Blow Mold Operator

The Blow Mold Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining production machinery to safely deliver the highest quality products at the best efficiency and lowest scrap possible using effective manufacturing methods.

• 2 nd shift: 2:45pm- 11:00pm M-F
• $22.25/hr

• All employees will complete training on FIRST SHIFT (7am- 3pm) for the first 5-6 weeks.
• Expected overtime once trained.

• Responsible for scrap, efficiency, and product quality
• Set up and operate blow mold machines and supporting equipment according to product specification and as scheduled by management in a timely manner.
• Perform all normal running adjustments to the equipment required to produce the product to specification; record all changes.
• Responsible for printing and supplying correct parts labels for the product.
• Schedule the supply of all raw materials, packaging materials, and supplies to the machine from the warehouse
• Conserve raw materials and supplies.
• Do routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting. In case of failure make repairs as directed, advise management of major problems, and aid maintenance personnel as required for major maintenance.
• Responsible for doing scheduled PM work to machine.
• Ensure that quality standards are upheld and that any suspect or defective product is reported to the Shift Leader to be appropriately destroyed or placed on hold for the Quality Facilitator's review and decision.
• Relieve other operators and quality as needed.
• Work as a valuable team member throughout the production room to accomplish the business goals.

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 2 years' previous experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read and interpret standard measuring tapes.
• Good troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
• Ability to work safely and effectively with minimal supervision.
