PART TIME HOUSEMAN

MRN, ltd is looking for a Houseman at the Doubletree by Hilton, The Tudor Arms Hotel in Cleveland, Ohio!

Our Venues draw inspiration from the energetic atmosphere of the trendiest areas in Cleveland and provide a wide variety of engaging experiences.

Job Overview:

Our Houseman will be paid a $14.00 per hour and be a non-exempt employee . This position has a 90-day probationary period.

A Houseman will be asked to perform the following duties:

• Interact with teammates and guests in a friendly and professional way
• Assure cleanliness of hotel grounds and entrances, storage facilities, trash areas, guest and back-of-house hallways, elevators, staircases, and guest rooms
• Communicate efficiently with Managers regarding maintenance issues, room damage, or missing property
• Follow established safety, health, and security procedures
• Deliver items to hotel guests as directed
• Assist with TV remotes, TV boxes, thermostats, Jacuzzi tubs, light fixtures, phones, and moving furniture
• Complete assigned projects and daily written checklists
• Support laundry and/or housekeeping departments when needed
• Distribute linen, housekeeping supplies, and room amenities properly
• Properly stock a cart with cleaning and paper supplies

Mandatory Requirements

• Ability to lift 40 pounds or less, maneuver up and down stairs with no difficulty, and stand on feet 95% of scheduled shift
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong task and time management abilities

Preferred Experience/Knowledge

• A High School Diploma or G.E.D
• Related experience in a dynamic hotel atmosphere
