Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in-person and remotely with U-Haul products and services
• Utilize U-Scan smartphone technology to manage rentals and inventory
• Move, hook up, and inspect U-Haul trucks and trailers
• Clean equipment and check fluid levels on vehicles and trailers
• Educate customers on products, services, and rental procedures
• Prepare rental invoices and process returns
• Install hitches and trailer wiring
• Fill propane (certification provided)
• Operate forklift (certification provided)
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Participate in ongoing training through U-Haul University

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

• Work involves moderate risks such as operating machinery, exposure to fumes or irritants, and using protective gear as needed
• Requires physical exertion including standing for long periods, moving equipment weighing up to 50 lbs., and reaching objects at varying heights
