Auto Mechanic Job Description:
DiagnoseIssues :Identifymechanicalproblemsusingdiagnosticequipmentandvisualinspections.
- PerformRepairs :Repairorreplacefaultypartsandsystems,includingengines,transmissions,andelectricalsystems.
- RoutineMaintenance :Conductregularmaintenancetaskssuchasoilchanges,tirerotations,andbrakeservicestoensurevehiclesafetyandperformance.
- CustomerInteraction :Communicatewithvehicleownerstodiscussconcernsandproviderecommendationsforrepairsandmaintenance.
- SafetyProtocols :Followsafetyprotocolsandmaintainacleanandorganizedworkarea.
RequiredSkillsandQualifications
- TechnicalKnowledge :Strongunderstandingofautomotivesystemsandmechanics,includingknowledgeofcomputerizedsystemsandautomotiveelectronics.
- Problem SolvingSkills :Abilitytoanalyzeissuesanddevelopeffectivesolutions.
- ManualDexterity :Proficiencyinusinghandtoolsandpowertoolssafelyandeffectively.
- Certifications : Must be ASE certified.
- Experience :Previousexperienceinautomotiverepairorarelatedfieldisoftenrequired,withsomepositionsrequiringspecifictrainingorvocationaleducation.
