Your day as a Custodian

As a Full-Time Custodian at EDEN., you can expect to engage in a variety of essential tasks every day. Your primary responsibilities will include cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, common areas, and office spaces, ensuring a healthy environment for both staff and visitors. You'll also be responsible for sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, as well as dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures.

On a typical day, you will conduct routine inspections of the facilities to identify cleaning needs and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies. Organizational skills will be crucial, as you may also help set up spaces for events or meetings. Your expected schedule will be Monday through Friday , allowing you to maintain a work-life balance while contributing to a vibrant team atmosphere.

Flexibility is essential, as tasks may vary based on organizational needs.

To be successful in the Full-Time Custodian position at EDEN, candidates should possess a variety of essential skills and qualifications. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, ensuring a foundational level of education. While a minimum of one year of experience in custodial or a related field is preferred, a strong willingness to learn can also set you apart. Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies is vital for maintaining our facilities effectively.

Additionally, certification in janitorial services is preferred, as it demonstrates a commitment to industry standards and best practices. Attention to detail is crucial for identifying areas that require cleaning and maintenance. Strong time management skills will help you prioritize tasks efficiently throughout your shift. Finally, a customer-centric approach and the ability to work collaboratively with team members will contribute to a positive and productive work environment.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
