Landscape Maintenance Technicians

As a Landscape Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the upkeep and enhancement of various landscapes. This position offers hands-on, outdoor work in a collaborative setting, with opportunities to learn new skills and contribute to a positive work environment. The role is full-time, primarily Monday through Friday, with occasional off-hour or weekend work due to seasonal needs and weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance and construction tasks on outdoor projects and worksites as assigned by management.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools, and assist with loading trucks and hauling materials.
- Maintain a clean and safe worksite by picking up tools, equipment, and debris daily.
- Follow all safety procedures and report any incidents or hazards to colleagues, management, or human resources.
- Work collaboratively with team members and assist Crew Leaders as needed.
- Perform opening and closing duties for worksites.
- Participate in Snow Operations, including snow plan development and area management during snow events, which may require work outside normal hours.
- Perform light maintenance on assigned equipment, keep records of inventory, and maintain cleanliness of assigned areas.
- Carry out other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Ability to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license prior to employment.
- Experience or education demonstrating the ability to perform landscape maintenance work.
- Knowledge of proper use of landscape equipment, materials, and supplies.
- Familiarity with first aid and applicable safety precautions.
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to schedule.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, walk and stand for extended periods, and perform strenuous labor in various weather conditions.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Understanding of equipment and tool safety.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
