Job Opportunity – OB/GYN Physician – Ohio

Start Date: August 2025 (multiple coverage blocks available through January 2026)

Location: Northern Ohio

Compensation: Competitive locum tenens rates provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Multiple coverage blocks ranging from 2-5 consecutive days. On-call coverage for Labor & Delivery, GYN emergencies, and scheduled surgical procedures. Weekend coverage included as part of schedule. Call is not in-house.

Highlights:

• Hospital-based OB/GYN and Labor & Delivery on-call coverage with manageable patient volumes
• 10 LDRP beds, 3 postpartum beds, 1 triage bed with 2-5 average daily deliveries
• Mixed practice: 40-50% gynecology (1-4 GYN surgeries per day), 15-35% C-section rate
• Collaborative environment with 2 physicians and 5 CNMs currently on staff
• EPIC EMR system for streamlined documentation
• 12-bed normal newborn nursery; no special care nursery responsibilities
• Travel reimbursement and lodging provided (approximately $150/night)
• Emergency temporary privileges possible for qualified candidates with clean background and active Ohio license

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active and unrestricted Ohio medical license (required)
• Current DEA registration
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and ACLS certifications
• Ability to perform C-sections and all OB/GYN related surgeries, including scheduled dilation and curettage procedures
• Flu vaccination required; COVID-19 vaccination preferred
• Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation
• Availability for specific coverage dates listed
