CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Job Summary:
We are a patient-focused pain management practice committed to delivering compassionate care in a dynamic and highly regulated clinical environment. Our team works collaboratively to support patients through their treatment journey with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Medical Assistant who is helpful, adaptable, and thrives in a high-volume setting . The ideal candidate is a strong multitasker , comfortable with extended shifts , and able to maintain accuracy and composure in a compliance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist providers with patient care, procedures, and documentation
- Preparing patients for medical tests and examinations
- Take vital signs, update medical histories, and manage EMR documentation
- Support patient education and follow-up instructions
- Coordinate with front office and clinical staff to maintain smooth workflow
- Uphold strict compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
- Prior experience in pain management or a high-volume medical setting is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and remain organized under pressure
- Comfortable working full-day shifts and adapting to changing priorities
- Knowledge of EMR systems and medical terminology
