Reynoldsburg City Schools is seeking a dedicated and highly qualified School Psychologist to join our team at the elementary level for the 20252026 academic year. This is a full-time, in-person position serving one or more elementary schools within the district. The School Psychologist will play a critical role in supporting the academic, social-emotional, and behavioral success of our students through collaboration, evaluation, and evidence-based interventions.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssessment & Evaluation
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for special education services or suspected of having disabilities.
Interpret assessment data and provide clear, actionable reports to parents, educators, and the IEP team.
Monitor and support implementation of Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS).
Consultation & Collaboration
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, school counselors, and other specialists to develop effective interventions and accommodations.
Provide consultation to staff and parents regarding student learning, behavior, and mental health concerns.
Participate in IEP and evaluation team meetings as a knowledgeable and collaborative contributor.
Intervention & Support
Design and implement academic and behavioral interventions for students with diverse needs.
Support students individually or in small groups to address social skills, emotional regulation, executive functioning, and coping strategies.
Assist in crisis prevention and response planning, including participation in threat assessments and behavioral risk evaluations when necessary.
Compliance & Documentation
Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with IDEA, Section 504, and district policy.
Ensure compliance with timelines for evaluations, re-evaluations, and report submissions.
Uphold ethical and professional standards as set by NASP (National Association of School Psychologists) and the Ohio Department of Education.
Required:
Valid Ohio Department of Education School Psychologist License
Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
Prior experience working in a K5 or elementary school setting preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Preferred:
Experience with MTSS frameworks and functional behavior assessments
Familiarity with electronic IEP systems and digital data management tools
Commitment to diversity, equity, and culturally responsive practices
