Job Opportunity – Cardiac Electrophysiologist – Ohio
Start Date: January 23, 2026
Location: Canton, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Highlights:
- 3-month locum tenens assignment (6 weeks of coverage needed within the contract period)
- Clinic 2 days per week (Mondays and Tuesdays) with approximately 14 patients per clinic day
- Procedure days 3 days per week (Wednesday – Friday) with 2–4 days dedicated to the EP lab
- Comprehensive EP procedures including catheter ablation, implantable cardiac devices, cardioversion, EP studies, syncope evaluations, and remote device monitoring
- No call required during standard weekday shifts
- Epic EMR system
- Abbott EnSite mapping system available with 2 labs on-site
- 1 Advanced Practice Provider for inpatient support
- Level II Trauma Center with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Cardiology and Electrophysiology
- ACLS and BLS certification
- Active state medical license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) accepted with clean background
- Experience performing comprehensive EP procedures including ablations and device implantation
- Locally located providers strongly preferred
