We are seeking an experienced Regional Director, Nursing Business Development to spearhead growth strategies and achieve revenue goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare and/or nursing, combined with business development expertise. This role requires deep industry knowledge, particularly in nursing and healthcare sales, strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to identify and capitalize on new market opportunities. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential, as this role involves interactions with key stakeholders, executives, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional business development strategies to achieve sales targets within the nursing and healthcare sectors.
- Identify and establish relationships with key stakeholders, including nursing executives, healthcare decision-makers, and clinical leaders.
- Lead negotiations and close deals with major healthcare clients and partners.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs specific to nursing environments.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align offerings with the demands of the sector.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, particularly those focused on nursing.
- Provide regular feedback to the SVP on sales performance and forecast.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide detailed reports on regional performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Work closely with the sales team and cross-functional teams to share best practices and support overall business objectives.
- Oversee customer relationship management (CRM) processes and ensure accurate and up-to-date records in CRM software.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Nursing, Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or a related field. RN or other clinical credentials preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development, with a strong emphasis on the healthcare and nursing sectors.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth within healthcare organizations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with experience interacting with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
- Strong networking abilities and professional demeanor, particularly within the nursing and healthcare communities.
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and events.
- Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce) and Google Workspace is preferred.

- Revenue Growth:
Achieve $1,000,000 - $3,000,000 in sales revenue (Cash and Contracted) within the next 12 months. - Client Acquisition Rate:
Secure 10-20 new client meetings within the next 3 months through effective lead generation and personalized outreach efforts, with intent to purchase demonstrated by 6 months. - Market Penetration:
Expand market presence by identifying and entering 3-5 new regional markets within the next 12 months.
