Hospital Dietitian Job Details
- Location: El Paso, TX 79902 (Texas healthcare jobs)
- Setting: Inpatient Hospital Dietary Office (1st Floor)
- Assignment Length: 13-week travel contract
- Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,870 - $1,920 per week
- Patient Load: 10–15 patients daily
- Team Size: 4 dietitians
- Dress Code: Burgundy scrubs
- Active Registered Dietitian (RD) license required
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in hospital or inpatient dietitian jobs
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with Meditech, Imobile, and HealthTouch EMR systems preferred
- NICU dietitian training is a plus
- Strong commitment to patient-centered healthcare
- Perform nutrition consultations and assessments for hospital inpatients
- Identify malnutrition and create individualized nutrition care plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and collaborate with clinical healthcare teams
- Document patient care in hospital EMR systems
- Promote best practices in dietary management and patient education
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital staff
