Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet care to maintain pristine surfaces.
• Conduct routine custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and restroom sanitation to uphold high standards of hygiene.
• Operate cleaning equipment like floor buffers, vacuums, and industrial cleaning tools efficiently and safely.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, offices, restrooms, and other designated spaces according to established protocols.
• Follow safety procedures during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting repair needs or safety hazards promptly to the appropriate team members.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by working collaboratively with team members and adhering to company policies.

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience is highly preferred; familiarity with commercial or industrial cleaning enhances your suitability for this role.
• Experience with floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, sealing, or carpet cleaning is advantageous.
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices including basic repairs and painting is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards consistently.
