Landscape Hardscape Installation Foreman (Full-time Position)
Sajovie Brothers Landscaping, Inc. is a year-round organization that prides itself on delivering high-quality Landscape Maintenance, Landscape Enhancement, Landscape Installs, and Snow Removal Services to our valued customers. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Hardscape Installation Foreman to join our team. This role involves leading a crew of 2-5 members, ensuring all work performed meets our high-quality standards and exceeds customer expectations. The successful candidate will be reliable, possess strong leadership skills, and have proficiency in landscape hardscape installations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a crew of 2-5 members, assigning tasks and motivating crew members to achieve high-quality results.
- Coordinate daily/weekly schedule & routes with Operations Manager/Development Manager.
- Ensure completion and submission of all required documentation daily.
- Manage loading and unloading of equipment/supplies based on daily tasks.
- Drive to/from assigned job sites to perform tasks safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily maintenance and service check-ups of equipment, tools, truck & trailer, and maintain trailer inventory.
- Identify and communicate all equipment issues with Operations Manager/Development Manager promptly.
- Participate in on-going position-related Training Program for continual progress in areas such as equipment operation, proper landscape techniques, plant identification, etc.
- Provide excellent customer service at all times.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED); and or 12+ months of training or work related experience.
- Two to three years of field related experience performing similar Landscape Hardscape Installations.
- Ability to safely drive and maneuver a truck and trailer.
- Proficiency in operating equipment such as excavators and skidsteers.
- Basic understanding of industry standard professional softscape and hardscape concepts and methods.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Plant identification skills (typical plants for this zone).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Reliable transportation to/from the office.
