The Office of Continuous Improvement is looking for a dedicated Chief of Internal Audit position who will...

• Lead the enterprise-wide risk assessment processes
• Oversee, manage & execute comprehensive annual audit plan of OHFA
• Review & evaluate corrective actions taken by management to identified deficiencies
• Institute & ensure all internal control practices & procedures are in compliance with applicable accounting standards
• Report on internal audits to the Audit Committee

Preferred Qualifications

Certification as a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, or similar certification

The Office of Continuous Improvement (Office) reports to the audit committee of the OHFA board & to the executive directors. The Office is responsible for reporting the results of all audits performed & potential risks identified through various means. The Office must remain flexible enough to conduct additional audits, re-audits or consulting activities as requested by the audit committee, Executive Director, or Senior Team to provide information needed to meet their fiscal responsibility or aid in the operations of the agency. The direct stakeholders are the members of the audit committee & the Executive Director. Indirect stakeholders include members of the board, senior team members, investors that rely on financial & compliance reports & the employees of the agency.
