Responsibilities

• Maintain all HVAC, MEP building structure and systems.

• Plan and coordinate all HVAC, MEP and refurbishment installations.

• Respond to tenant requests for repairs and maintenance.

• Manage the upkeep and Planned Maintenance of equipment and systems.

• Inspect buildings’ structures and systems to determine the need for repairs.

• Work and coordinate with facilities staff (custodians, technicians, groundskeepers etc.) and external contractors.

• Coordinate activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal.

• Handle service contract coordination.

• Keep digital records and utilize Work Order software.

Requirements

• 8 years proven experience as facilities manager or relevant position.

• HVAC Certification.

• Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Computer skills.

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

• Relevant professional qualifications will be an advantage.

• In depth knowledge of building systems including HVAC, HVAC Controls, Electric, Plumbing, Fire Alarms. Access Control.

• Successful background check.

• Personally owned transportation.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on worker that can accomplish the majority of repairs and maintenance without assistance as well as work hand in hand with contractors on larger projects and large PMs.
