Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Level 1 maternity unit in Ohio, requiring OB experience and night shift availability.

Details

• Acute care setting in a Level 1 maternity unit in Ohio
• Labor & Delivery unit with 4 L&D rooms and 6 postpartum rooms, averaging approximately 30 deliveries per month
• All staff are cross-trained across labor, mother/baby, newborn nursery, and postpartum
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, three shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• Staffing follows AWHONN guidelines
• EMR system: TruBridge (Evident/CPSI) and Centricity
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; 3+ years of OB experience strongly preferred
• BSN not required

Additional Information

• Cross-trained responsibilities include labor, mother/baby, newborn nursery, and postpartum care
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Unit staffing aligns with AWHONN guidelines
