Job Overview

Hi, I'm Jared Lichtin, owner of Radiant Roofing in Cleveland, Ohio. We just experienced a significant hail event, with 90,000 houses damaged by 2 inch hail. Our office in Bedford Heights is right in the center of the hail map, and we are experiencing significant growth due to the storm.

As the owner, a good amount of my day is managing 7 sales guys, and making sure leads are closed, contracts are on point, supplements are smooth, and customers are taken care of. I need to take a step back into a more strategic role, so I am looking for an experienced sales leader to own the floor — managing the team, holding reps accountable, and still producing deals personally.

This is a true player-coach position with real autonomy. If you've been a top rep ready for a management step up, or you're already managing and want a market with serious momentum, this is worth a conversation. We truly have an awesome culture of winners, but a lot of our sales guys are newer. So we need that experienced piece to motivate and run the sales team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily retail operations, develop strategic sales initiatives, and foster a customer-centric environment. Your leadership will inspire your team to achieve sales targets, deliver exceptional customer service, and maintain operational excellence.

Current Staff

Owner, Office Admin, Full-time Production manager, 7 sales reps, and about to add another office admin to handle the phones.

Compensation

Base salary- $75–85k

Bonus on Gross % of total Sales, Depends on experience

Total base + bonus target- $150k

Personal sales- Uncapped - With this storm, you could easily sell 1-2 million on your own aside from running the sales team.

Relocation Bonus up to $10,000 for out-of-market hires

What you'll own

• Day-to-day sales team management
• Assigning leads
• Recruiting, training, and coaching reps
• Pipeline oversight and close rates
• Personal production — your own deals
• Setting process, accountability standards
• Reporting sales results to ownership

What ownership handles

• High-value, commercial and referral accounts
• Company financials and operations
• Supporting reps as needed
• Vendor and partner relationships
• Strategic growth decisions

Who we're looking for

• Proven track record in exterior restoration — roofing, siding, windows, or gutters
• Experience managing a sales team, or a top rep ready to step into leadership
• Comfortable working storm/insurance-driven markets
• Can sell independently — not just a manager who stopped producing
• Strong at holding reps accountable without micromanaging
• Does not need hand-holding — can operate with high autonomy
• Location flexible — open to candidates relocating from other markets
