Pay: $18$20/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time | MondayFriday (occasional evenings/weekends due to weather and seasonal needs)

Mancan, in partnership with a Novelty-area facility, is currently seeking Lawn Maintenance Workers to join a landscape maintenance team.

Position Summary

The Landscape Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing physically demanding work as part of a landscape maintenance team. This role involves operating hand and power tools, maintaining outdoor environments, assisting crew leaders, and ensuring job sites remain safe and clean. This is a non-exempt, full-time position with year-round responsibilities, including seasonal snow operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Perform landscape maintenance and outdoor construction tasks as assigned
* Operate hand tools, power tools, and landscape equipment safely
* Maintain clean and organized job sites; secure tools and equipment daily
* Load/unload trucks and haul materials as needed
* Assist crew leaders and other team members to complete projects efficiently
* Perform opening and closing duties at job sites
* Participate in snow operations, including snow removal and area management (hours may vary during snow events)
* Conduct light maintenance on equipment and assist with inventory tracking
* Follow all safety procedures and report incidents or hazards promptly
* Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

* Valid drivers license or ability to obtain one prior to employment
* Any combination of education and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the role
* Knowledge of landscape maintenance tools, equipment, and materials
* Understanding of safety practices and first aid basics
* Ability to work independently and follow daily schedules
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform strenuous physical labor in outdoor conditions
* Strong attendance, reliability, and communication skills
* Bilingual candidates are a plus

Physical Demands & Work Environment

* Regular outdoor work in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow)
* Exposure to loud noise and moving mechanical equipment
* Requires prolonged standing, walking, lifting, bending, and use of manual dexterity
* Must have good stamina, coordination, and visual acuity (near/far vision)
