Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school district in Bucyrus, OH, is seeking a qualified school psychologist to provide prehensive psychological services for the uping school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to support students' educational and emotional needs within a dynamic school environment.
Responsibilities include conducting psycho-educational assessments, collaborating with educators and families to develop individualized education programs (IEPs), providing direct counseling services, and consulting on behavioral interventions. The school psychologist will play a crucial role in promoting student success and well-being across multiple grade levels.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid state certification or licensure as a school psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 populations in educational settings
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills, including individual and group testing
- Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
- Effective munication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and school staff
- Ability to develop and implement intervention strategies that address academic, social, and emotional challenges
