Step into the exciting world of gymnastics with the Y as a Gymnastics Instructor! In this fun and rewarding role, you'll teach beginner tumbling and essential gymnastic skills, focusing on building strong foundations for our young athletes. Your classes will emphasize large motor skill development, balance, and coordination, ensuring that every participant feels empowered and confident. By creating a developmentally appropriate program, you'll help foster strength, flexibility, focus, and gross motor skills in your students. To thrive as a Gymnastics Instructor at the Y, you'll need a blend of skills and enthusiasm! Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a solid understanding of preschool tumbling and gymnastics instruction. Your ability to connect with children of all ages and abilities will be key-after all, you're not just teaching skills, you're building a love for the sport! Strong communication with parents is essential too, as you'll be their go-to resource for their child's gymnastics journey.
