Food & Beverage Manager

Reports To: General Manager / Assistant General Manager / Event Director

Supervises: Front-of-House Team

$24/hour ~ $50,000/year

We are seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead daily dining operations, deliver exceptional member and guest experiences, and oversee front-of-house service. This hands-on leader will manage staff, control costs, support events, and maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of food and beverage management experience
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, cost controls, POS systems, wine and bar operations
• Ability to train, coach, and develop teams
• ServSafe Food Safety Certification (Level II preferred)
• CPR certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily dining room and front-of-house operations
• Lead, train, schedule, and develop service staff
• Monitor labor, food, beverage, and operating costs to achieve budget goals
• Ensure exceptional service and build strong relationships with members and guests
• Coordinate with the Executive Chef on menus, specials, and staff training
• Support banquet and special event operations
• Manage cash controls, POS reconciliation, reservations, and inventory
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and compliance with food safety and alcohol regulations
• Handle guest concerns and ensure timely resolution
• Partner with club leadership on promotions, menu development, and long-range planning
• Serve as Manager-on-Duty as scheduled

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Work in a fast-paced, hot, and sometimes noisy environment
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and shifts up to 14 hours
