As our new Sr. Director, Customer Analytics, you will report to the VP, Customer Analytics and serve as an expert, guiding clients and teams through data-driven insights that shape strategic planning and long-term growth. You will lead the growth and measurement capabilities of our analytics team across dentsu, collaborating with cross-agency SMEs to design client-centric solutions. You will coach and influence teams, develop relevant multi-year roadmaps, and translate complex data into compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences. You will guide strategic forecasting, uncover opportunities, and deliver executive-level presentations that inform decisions and accelerate results.

You Will:

  • Provide insights through data analysis to inform strategic planning and initiative prioritization.
  • Improve growth within the analytics consulting space to improve analytic, measurement and data within client network
  • Coach direct and indirect reports to best identify solutions through data, analytics, and technology to support our strategic plans.
  • Develop forecast for analytics advisory offering collaborating across multiple disciplines
  • Collaborate with cross-agency SMEs to identify opportunities to curate and develop solutions that are well thought through and are client and customer-centric
  • Create executive level presentations and analyses of analytic and data solutions to support client needs
  • Lead the development of multi-phased measurement, analytic or data roadmaps for clients
  • Translate data into clear narratives across channels (i.e., ppt, and email).
  • Recommend insights for strategic and long-term planning including trade-off analysis
  • Collaborate with agency SMEs to ensure solutions are client and customer-centric and well thought through
  • Provide expertise through articles, blogs, events and other marketing to guide modern analytics and data solutions
  • Identify opportunities for cross-solutioning within clients
  • Assess market trends and incorporate insights to recommend potential product and market level opportunities
  • Manage and nurture existing growth account opportunities across the dentsu network
  • Develop depth and breadth of understanding of solutions and offerings across dentsu and Merkle
  • Lead matrixed teams through influence, collaboration and coaching

You Have:

  • 15+ years experience in analytics, business consulting, data strategy, and strategic planning, with a track record across both agency and corporate environments.
  • 8+ years cross-team leadership over multiple strategic disciplines
  • Experience guiding and planning work products from technical and strategic teams
  • Experience translating ML/AI models and analytic projects to tactical and executional business action
  • Experience applying data and insights for storytelling and solution application
  • Experience translating ambiguous requests into tactical strategies, and simplifying complex analytic and data solutions into language that resonates with non-technical audiences.
  • Experience managing both client and agency teams to facilitate collaborative, data-informed solutions.
  • Experience identifying client challenges and applying analytics-led strategies, applying a broad spectrum of tools to guide relevant decisions.

The annual base salary range for this position is $136,000-$219,650. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.

Dentsu may designate other Hub offices at any time. Those who live outside a commutable range may be designated as remote, depending on the role and business needs.
