Join Our Team at Lakeside Book Company!
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance task to ensure the smooth operation of our facility.

Starting Rate: $21.25/hr. with a $2.00/hr. shift differential when working 2nd and 3rd shifts!
Work Hours: Rotating Shifts (Every 6 weeks) - 7AM-3PM, 3PM-11PM, 11PM-7AM
Work Location: Willard, OH

As General Building Maintenance Personnel in the Buildings and Grounds Department, you will:

• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks for buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Conduct inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Repair plumbing fixtures, electrical systems, and HVAC units as needed.
• Paint, patch, and maintain walls, ceilings, and floors.
• Maintain outdoor areas, including landscaping and snow removal.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Assist with special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift and carry 20-50 pounds
• Proven experience in maintenance or a related field.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems preferred.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
