Customer Service/Sales Support Representative

General Data Company is looking for a Customer Service/Sales Support Representative that will provide support to our external Direct Sales Reps.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide quality service and support in a variety of areas including, but not limited to order entry and acknowledgment, order tracking, and sales support.
- Adds appropriate attachments to each estimate (Sales Order, Label Estimate, Sales Tax Forms, Invoices, etc.). Ensures information on estimate is correct prior to sending (ship to address, tracking numbers, products/quantities, sales tax, freight method, etc.)
- Follows up on all orders and responds to customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns.
- Works closely with Sales reps and other sales support to ensure accurate and timely communication with customers.
- Maintains a clean, neat, and organized workspace.
- Other duties that may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and Experience:
- 1-3 years’ experience in customer service, sales support, or help desk capacity required.
Required Skills and Behaviors:
· Self-starter, who can exhibit a track record of developing customer relationships in telephone conversations.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact and communicate with customers and other General Data team members.
· Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in an environment with competing priorities.
· Ability to take initiative and interact with all levels of management.
· Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word, and Outlook with proficient keyboard/typing skills.
· Ability to meet or exceed goals set by company.
Work Availability:
· Ability to commute to other General Data buildings as needed .
· Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such a level as is determined by management.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Typical hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 40 hours per week.
