Distribution Designer

Job Title: Remote Distribution Designer Job Description We are currently seeking experienced Distribution Designers to join an Engineering firm on a remote basis. You must have experience working with Distribution Design Studio (DDS) on resiliency workloads for AEP and/or CenterPoint. Responsibilities + Design and draft power distribution systems. + Utilize DDS for distribution design and power delivery. + Engage in utility design and ensure effective power distribution. + Contribute to the resilience of power delivery systems. Essential Skills + Minimum of 2 years of distribution design experience. + At least 1 year of experience with DDS. + Experience with AEP, CNP, or First Energy for at least 1 year. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Proficiency in Katapult and IKE. + Strong skills in Distribution Design Studio. + Experience as a Design Technician. + Competence in staking and pole locating. Work Environment This role offers a flexible work environment with both office and remote options available. You will work 40+ hours per week. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
