Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)

Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting for a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to support the Dayton VA Medical Center located at 4100 West Third Street, Dayton, OH 45428. Available shift schedules include days and evening. • Perform moderate and high complexity laboratory testing
• Analyze, verify, and accurately report test results
• Complete STAT testing within 60 minutes of receipt
• Communicate critical values to providers and document read‑back
• Perform and document quality control (QC) and proficiency testing
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation
• Manage reagents, supplies, and inventory
• Follow laboratory SOPs, CLIA, CAP, Joint Commission, and VA standards
• Maintain accurate documentation of results, QC, and maintenance
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and patient safety regulations

Qualifications

• Minimum 24 months of experience
• Must hold current MLT certification from:
  • ASCP (BOC or BOR)
  • AMT
  • American Association of Bioanalysts
• No sponsorship available

All candidates must be able to:

• Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
• Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
• Lift up to 20 lbs
• Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
• Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
