Position Overview

RISE Commercial District is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Property Manager Trainee to join our growing team in Columbus, OH. This role is designed for individuals eager to build a career in property management. As a Property Manager Trainee, you’ll assist with daily property operations, tenant relations, lease administration, maintenance coordination, and financial reporting.

You’ll gain hands-on experience while learning the ins and outs of commercial property management in a supportive, growth-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day property operations and tenant communications

• Support lease administration , renewals, and documentation

• Coordinate maintenance requests and vendor services

• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure quality and safety standards

• Help with financial reporting , budgeting, and expense tracking

• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures

• Collaborate with the property management team to enhance tenant satisfaction and property performance

Qualifications

• Experience in property management, sales, or customer service preferred

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Basic understanding of property maintenance coordination

• Familiarity with financial reporting and budgeting

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite

• Experience with property management software is a plus

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Associate degree required ; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field preferred
