LEAP Services Financial Analyst
Summary Responsible for creating and implementing accounting and finance processes for the LEAP engine program to transact with its primary JV partner. This will include accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process automation, communicating with our JV partner, and financial forecasting and analysis.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for designing and implementing financial reporting framework under the new arrangement with our JV partner, including accounting policy implementations, internal controls, process automation and financial forecasting and analysis.
- Responsible for review and analysis of data. Also responsible for recording, forecasting, monitoring and financial analysis of significant balance sheet accruals.
- Responsible for large cash settlements between the partners and the JV.
- Utilizes in-depth knowledge and analytical thinking to execute strategy.
- Meets regularly with JV partner to communicate and agree on results.
- Explains information at all levels of the organization, including stakeholders outside of finance; will handle sensitive issues.
- Ensure account reconciliations within area of responsibility are prepared and reviewed in accordance with US GAAP and submitted timely each period.
- Support preparation of monthly balance sheet reviews and management reports, as well as quarterly disclosures, that relate to areas of responsibility.
- Uses judgment and has the ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated problems. Has ability to prioritize information for data analysis. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and some external sources to arrive at decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance position
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Ability to deliver results on time.
- May require extended hours during peak closing period.

- Flexible approach with a strong team spirit
- CPA preferred, but not required
