This is a fully remote position available in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, and the Netherlands. Annual on-target earning including base and bonus is approximately 200K USD.

Role Impact

Reporting to the SVP, Professional Services, the Vice President, Solution Services will serve as the executive owner of solution design, business analysis, and future advisory service capabilities across all Elemica solutions, ultimately responsible for project leadership, management, quality, monitoring the commercial success of the projects and timely delivery within his/her team.

This VP leads the Solution Services Organization including Business Analysts and future advisory consultants—and while this role does not lead the PMO, it works in close partnership with PMO and Technical Services leadership to ensure projects are sold correctly, delivered profitably, and drive measurable customer value.

This position plays a critical role within the Solution & Advisory Services function and across Presales through the delivery lifecycle, providing confidence to customers and Sales that Elemica can deliver what is sold, while ensuring strong process rigor, utilization discipline, and revenue performance.

What You’ll Do

Delivery Partnership (Matrix Leadership)

  • Partner closely with PMO leadership to ensure:
    • Clean handoffs from solution design into execution
    • Clear scope, assumptions, and success criteria
    • Early identification and mitigation of delivery risk
  • Partner with Technical Services leadership to align solution design with technical feasibility, capacity, and delivery efficiency
  • Serve as an executive escalation point for solution scope, design clarity, and value realization

Commercial & KPI Accountability

  • Own utilization, revenue, and margin performance for the Solution Services teams
  • Establish and enforce KPI frameworks including:
    • Billable utilization
    • Revenue contribution and attach rates
    • Estimation accuracy
    • Advisory services growth
  • Ensure disciplined intake, prioritization, and capacity planning in collaboration with PMO and Services Operations
  • Act as a trusted executive partner to Sales, supporting:
    • Complex deal estimations and scoping
    • Customer‑facing sales calls and solution discussions
    • Confidence‑building conversations around delivery approach and outcomes
  • Ensure all estimates and proposed solutions are:
    • Realistic and defensible
    • Aligned to delivery capabilities and margins
    • Clearly articulated in terms of customer value and outcomes
  • Improve win rates and reduce delivery risk through strong upfront solution rigor

Process Rigor & Operational Excellence

  • Define and maintain solution design standards, estimation frameworks, and governance checkpoints
  • Requirements/Blue Printing quality and documentation
  • Scope clarity
  • Partner with Services Operations to ensure data‑driven decision‑making and predictable performance
  • Continued enablement planning for the team in coordination with the Product and Technology team

Talent Development & Organizational Health

  • Build, mentor, and retain a high‑performing team of Solution Specialists and advisory leaders
  • Establish clear career paths from Business Analyst ? Solution Principal ? Advisory Consultant
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer‑centric problem solving
  • Ensure global consistency while respecting regional delivery needs

Cross‑Functional Leadership

  • Serve as the voice of solution integrity across Sales, Product, PMO, and Technical Services
  • Partner with Product Management to provide feedback based on customer needs, delivery experience, and advisory insights
  • Represent Solution Services in executive leadership forums

What You’ll Need

Basic/Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience
  • 10–15+ years of progressive experience in professional services, consulting, or solution architecture leadership
  • Proven success leading solution design, business analysis, or advisory teams in a SaaS or enterprise software environment
  • Strong track record of supporting sales estimations and customer‑facing solution discussions
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in matrix organizations
  • Deep understanding of utilization, revenue, margin, and estimation discipline
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with perseverance and professionalism

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in supply chain, logistics, ERP, or B2B integration platforms
  • Familiarity with EAI, SAP ecosystems, and B2B messaging standards i.e. EDIFACT, VDA, X12, IDOCs, XML, xCBL, etc. and mapping tools is a plus
  • Experience in managing international professional services teams as well as other project stakeholders
  • Exposure to security and networking issues and technologies inherent in the use of the Internet in B2B solutions
  • Background in building advisory or consulting services as scalable offerings
