Labor & Delivery RN Job Details

• Location: Cleveland, Ohio (44195) – Ideal for Ohio nursing jobs seekers and travel nurses
• Healthcare Setting: Special Delivery Unit, Level III/IV Labor & Delivery
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 10/3/2025 – End: 1/2/2026)
• Nursing Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (7:00pm – 7:30am)
• Total Hours: 36 hours per week
• Employment Type: Locum tenens, travel RN contract
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,680 - $1,730

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of permanent experience as a Labor & Delivery RN
• At least 2 years of recent Level III or IV Labor & Delivery nursing experience, including scrub and circulating duties
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State Registered Nurse license
• Certifications required: AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP (all current)
• One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in Labor & Delivery
• Ability to work every other holiday as scheduled
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Deliver expert nursing care to mothers and newborns in a high-acuity Labor & Delivery healthcare setting
• Perform scrub and circulating duties for labor and delivery procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe, compassionate, and evidence-based patient care
• Accurately document patient care and outcomes using electronic charting systems
• Participate in orientation and ongoing competency assessments as required for clinical support roles
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including badging, fingerprinting, and required training modules
