What You'll Be Doing:
Evolent Health is looking for a Senior Accountant I to be a key member of the Accounting and Finance team. This individual will assist in the day-to-day accounting activities and month-end financial reporting requirements, while being actively involved in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial processes.
Responsibilities:

Oversee accounting transactions across range of business processes (e.g., revenue, accounts receivables, accounts payable)

Assist in month end close (e.g., post journal entries,

Prepare monthly account reconciliations

Prepare variance analysis (e.g., actual to forecast, month-over-month)

Prepare quarterly internal controls documentation
-
Support the quarterly and annual financial statement audits with auditors

Work with multiple project teams across the company

Participate in special projects
Required:
-
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
-
3 years of experience in accounting
Preferred:
-
Experience in Health Care industry or with Software as a Service (SaaS)

Technical Requirements:
We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. The expected base salary/wage range for this position is $80,000-$85,000. This position is also eligible for a bonus component that would be dependent on pre-defined performance factors. As part of our total compensation package, Evolent is proud to offer comprehensive benefits (including health insurance benefits) to qualifying employees. All compensation determinations are based on the skills and experience required for the position and commensurate with experience of selected individuals, which may vary above and below the stated amounts.
