Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Nurse to join our advanced surgical team. In this specialized role, you will assist in high-stakes cardiovascular procedures such as open-heart surgery, valve replacements, coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), and vascular repairs. You will play a critical role in ensuring the success of complex surgeries by maintaining a sterile environment, anticipating surgical needs, and delivering expert intraoperative support.

Key responsibilities include preparing and organizing surgical instruments and equipment, verifying patient and procedural information, supporting the surgical team during procedures, and monitoring patient status throughout the operation. You may serve as a scrub or circulating nurse, requiring a strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, surgical techniques, and hemodynamic stability.

This role demands precision, fast decision-making, and the ability to function seamlessly within a highly technical, team-oriented environment. You will work closely with cardiac surgeons, perfusionists, anesthesiologists, and fellow nurses to provide life-saving care.

Requirements and Qualifications

- Active RN license

- BLS certification

- Minimum of one (1) year of experience
