Job Summary:
The Member Services Representative will provide high-quality, personalized assistance to health plan members by addressing inquiries related to enrollment, benefits, billing, claims, and authorizations. The role requires handling calls and documentation efficiently, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring member satisfaction.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in customer service, call center, or administrative role (health insurance or Medicare experience preferred).
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; college coursework preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Knowledge of health insurance practices and HIPAA compliance.
- Proficiency in computer systems and data entry (Windows, Amisys, Macess).
- Effective time management and multitasking skills.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced, service-oriented call center requiring professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM.
