CNC Programmer/Operator

An established (30+ years) manufacturer of hydraulic systems and fluid power components is seeking a CNC Programmer to join its precision machining operation in Dover, Ohio. This is a hands-on role responsible for developing, editing, and optimizing CNC programs for high-tolerance components used in a range of custom-engineered hydraulic applications.

The Dover facility serves as the company's primary manufacturing site and includes a range of CNC equipment, including lathes and mills, with a focus on low- to mid-volume production. The team supports a wide range of customer orders, requiring tight tolerances, frequent setup changes, and close collaboration between programmers and machinists.

Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of CNC programming experience in a precision manufacturing environment
Proficiency with G-code and CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, GibbsCAM, or similar)
Strong understanding of turning and milling operations
Experience working with tight tolerances, custom fixtures, and varied materials
Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T standards

Requirements:
Develop and modify CNC programs for a variety of machines and part types
Collaborate with setup personnel and operators to troubleshoot and refine programs
Support tooling selection, process optimization, and cycle time reduction
Contribute to quality control efforts by ensuring program accuracy and documentation
Comfort working in a fast-paced, customer-driven production environment

Offer:
Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 , depending on experience
