Fiber Laser Operator

Key Responsibilities:

Operate fiberglass fabrication equipment and tools including rollers, brushes, cutters, and spray guns

Prepare molds, apply release agents, and lay up fiberglass materials according to blueprints or work instructions

Mix and apply resins and catalysts to achieve precise results

Eliminate air pockets and ensure a smooth, high-quality finish

Trim, sand, and finish parts to meet customer and quality standards

Inspect finished products for accuracy and craftsmanship

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace

Communicate equipment or material issues to supervisors and help keep production running smoothly

Follow all company safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience with fiberglass or manufacturing preferred (training available for the right candidate!)

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and safety guidelines

Excellent attention to detail and steady hand skills

Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs

Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic

Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as production demands
